Training and Instruction

The Sand Mountain Shooter's Club is offering personal protection classes designed to teach safe and responsible handling and use of firearms, as well as carry and concealment, cleaning and storage.

Course of Instruction:

1. Alabama State Laws concerning the use of deadly force.
2. Firearms nomenclature and basic safety concerns.
3. Firearms familiarization and usage which includes actual firing of weapons.
4. An overview of Alabama concealed weapon law.

Tuition is $100.00 per student with a maximum of 4 students per class.

Class length can run 3 to 5 hours depending on the size of the class and abilities of the students.

Instructor Credentials:

• NRA (National Rifle Association)
  • Certified Training Councilor,
  • Rifle Pistol, Shotgun and Muzzle Loading Rifle Instructor
  • Home Firearms Safety Instructor
  • Hunter Safety Instructor
